Project Details

The Powers Warehouse is prominently located along the Willamette River in downtown Portland. The building has served many functions including its original use as a furniture factory and warehouse; during World War II the building was converted into a dormitory for shipbuilders. Now it caters to new economy enterprises with renovated office featuring clean, natural light and an industrial character. The success of Power’s rehabilitation has helped promote adaptive reuse around the East Burnside bridgehead.
